Our boats are docked at Alimos Marina, on Athens’ vibrant western coast. It’s the perfect spot to set sail directly to the stunning Saronic Gulf or venture out towards the beautiful Western Cyclades.

If you’re short on time or prefer to skip the Athenian explorations, we’ve got you covered with our charter base in Lavrion. Just a 30-minute drive from Athens Airport, Lavrion is ideal for those eager to hit the sea right after landing—letting you start your sailing journey within an hour or two of arrival!

Suggested Sailing Itineraries from Athens

From our base in Athens, you have two incredible sailing routes to choose from. Sailors typically embark on adventures either through the charming Saronic Gulf or the breathtaking Cyclades archipelago. Each route offers a unique experience, filled with stunning landscapes, historic sites, and unforgettable moments at sea. However, your journey is entirely up to you—whether you follow these itineraries or create your own. We’re always here to offer suggestions and recommendations to ensure your trip is exactly what you dream it to be.

7-Day Saronic Gulf Itinerary

Day 1: Athens to Epidavros (31nm)
Start your journey by sailing from Athens to the historic town of Epidavros. Explore the ancient theater, famous for its perfect acoustics, and the Sanctuary of Asklepios, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 2: Epidavros to Hydra (32nm)
Head to the stunning island of Hydra, a haven for artists and jet-setters. With no cars on the island, enjoy walking its cobbled streets, and take in the beautiful neoclassical architecture. Don’t miss the Kamini fishing village for a quiet retreat.

Day 3: Hydra to Spetses (15nm)
Sail to Spetses, a cosmopolitan island with deep historical roots from the Greek Revolution. Explore the old harbor and visit the Bouboulina Museum, dedicated to the heroic naval commander.

Day 4: Spetses to Poros (26nm)
Next, head to Poros, a small but lush island known for its picturesque town and rich history. Visit the ancient ruins of the Temple of Poseidon and the beautiful Lemonodasos, or “Lemon Forest.”

Day 5: Poros to Aegina (13nm)
Sail to Aegina, famous for its pistachios and the ancient Temple of Aphaia. Wander through its charming streets and enjoy fresh seafood in the local tavernas.

Day 6: Aegina to Athens (17nm)
Return to Athens but stop along the way for a swim or to explore any hidden coves. In Athens, you can either explore the city’s ancient landmarks or simply relax.

Day 7: Departure from Athens
Conclude your sailing adventure and enjoy some final sightseeing or shopping in Athens before departing.

7-Day Cyclades Itinerary

Day 1: Athens to Cape Sounion (23nm)
Start your trip with a short sail to Cape Sounion. Admire the ancient Temple of Poseidon perched dramatically on the cliffs, especially at sunset.

Day 2: Cape Sounion to Kythnos (22nm)
Sail to the serene island of Kythnos. Known for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere, you can explore hidden coves, enjoy the hot springs at Loutra, and visit charming villages.

Day 3: Kythnos to Sifnos (28nm)
Next stop is Sifnos, an island famous for its whitewashed villages and pristine beaches. Visit the picturesque village of Artemonas and the Monastery of Chrysopigi.

Day 4: Sifnos to Milos (14nm)
Sail to Milos, a volcanic island known for its incredible beaches and unique rock formations. Don’t miss Sarakiniko beach with its moon-like landscape and the iconic Kleftiko caves.

Day 5: Milos to Serifos (15nm)
Head to the island of Serifos, where the rugged, arid landscape meets crystal-clear waters. Explore the charming hilltop town of Chora and relax on the tranquil beaches.

Day 6: Serifos to Kea (21nm)
Sail towards Kea, the gateway to the Cyclades, known for its unspoiled nature and ancient history. Explore the Lion of Kea and the ancient ruins of Karthea.

Day 7: Kea to Athens (21nm)
End your journey by sailing back to Athens. Take time to reflect on your adventure while sailing through the blue waters of the Aegean.

Getting to Athens

Alimos Marina, where our boats are docked, is perfectly located on Athens’ southwest coast. It’s only 15km from the heart of the city, 8km from the bustling Piraeus port, and about 30km from Athens International Airport. Depending on traffic, you can expect the taxi ride to take around 35-50 minutes, but if you prefer public transport, there are convenient options available.

We can arrange a private minibus transfer from the airport to your boat, working with our trusted partners to ensure everything goes smoothly.
